Have had my coupe for a little over a month and today some careless you-know-what must have slammed their door into the right front fender. Now I have a noticeable ding/dent on the wheel arch. It looks like I may be able to push it out if I can get my hand behind it but wasn't able to remove the plastic wheel well thing. Anyone have any suggestions or alternatives? Thanks.

Lets see a pic of it. I'd recommend any body work to be done by a professional. There wasn't any paint transfer?

Best picture I can get to show it, looks a lot worse in person plus the paints dirty ...

I go to Dunkin Donuts in Bethel every morning around 7:45. Place is jamming at this point. I park verrrry far away. I can't watch my car all the time, but I can prevent dings from happening.

You probably do the same but I'm just mentioning it. Unfortunately people have no consideration. Get a couple body shop estimates. Or even better, call up the Dent Wizard. That looks like a professional job.

It's a car, you're going to get scratches and dents in it. The only way to keep it in immaculate condition is to put it in your garage and leave it there. Like they say, "life happens." Don't worry about it too much, and some time down the road, you can go to a body shop to fix all the scratches, dings, damage done to your car throughout the years. Going to get every single ding fixed is just plain stupid.

Well a year or two of ownership and if you get a scratch or dent, then maybe you can live with it. But if your car is a month old and has a dent in the fender which is most likely very noticeable, then you care. A dent or scratch on the door is most of the time, not nearly as bad and getting a dent in the fender.

Here in Florida we have a place called Carsmetics which does minor work and dent removal. Find a place like this. The go in behind the dent, through drain holes and wheels wells and get the dents out. I had a 96 240SX that had a dent on the start of the quarter panel, just after the drivers door, but before the wheel well. My car was black and the dent waived hi, it was so noticeable. Went there, they got it out. The only remaining was mark on the paint from what caused the dent. It was I think $75. This was several years ago and the car had no other dents, so it was worth it to keep it looking good.

Just two weeks ago, I found someone had scraped my front bumper on my A/C. My care is the pearl white and the black bumper showed right thru the scratched area. It was two 5 inches scratches, two inches apart. It was right on the front and the first thing you would see when the car was driving up.

Well I had not even made the first payment, so I could not live with it. I went to the carsmetics because they also do painting and bumper repair. It was $250 to repair and refinish, but it looks great and I have peace of mind.

I recommend a place like this to remove your dent. They have to have shops like that were you live.

I've tried to stay away from busy areas as much as possible but in running around during errands I was just quickly pulling in and pulling out so I didin't do my usual yesterday and I guess I paid for it. If it wasn't a brand new car I would live with it for a while but I'll have to go around and get a quote - I'm hoping it won't be over the top. I guess it could be worse...
