DIN Faceplate to replace the CD CHanger?

Well after much back and fourth with Headunit. I am down to just the lower passenger front speaker working. All other speakers are clipped or blown. The culpirt is either is most likely the stock head unit. IF I bypass the stock system and plug into my amps things work great. Infiniti wouldnt even diagnosis the amp and aftermarket place said they do not have tools to test so it is replace and cross fingers. But I hated the quality and 2ohm level of the amp output in the first place. But I need to keep the AC fan and information controls of the headunit.


So anyone remove the cd changer and just put a single din unit in there? I could easily run my 2 rca up there and grab 12volts form the dash and have my single din for music and bypass the bose all together. Maybe even fit a double din for a touch screen. this would make my cars rides and keeping the car that much longer.

Anyone sell a kit for that faceplate part of the car? Fab one up? Remove the CD changer?
