I recently pulled my 90 sohc motor apart to do a rebuild only to find that the number 4 piston is dimpled like a golf ball. not cracked or anything just dimpled. Do you think this will be okay or will it shatter if i try to reuse it? I do plan on eventually replacing them just don't have the $$$ to do it now. Any input?

dimpled pistons fly farther than smooth ones, chuck it and see. While you are at it chuck the oth three too and get a new set, it's money well spent.
