Dim HID headlight.

My right HID headlight is not nearly as bright as the left one. It still works, but just doesn't throw much light. Is this a bulb or ballast problem? or something else? any ideas?

Id say thats a ballast problem. Should still be under warrenty...hopefully

It turns out the previous owner or dealer didn't put the bulb in the socket properly. It was just sitting in there loosely and the glass protecting the filment is broken. I put the bulb in properly and the light is back to normal other then the broken glass. I will have to order a replacement. I'm glad it was just the bulb.
