Digital speedometer question.

Alright, so I've been wanting to install this digital coupe speedometer in my hatch for some time now. I have tried two different gauge clusters and while both show most everything working, neither of their digital speedometers work. I even used the guide here on nico to replace the capacitor on one of them to no avail. Now before I spend any more time or money trying to get these working I have a couple questions. I have a 1989 240sx with a dohc KA swap in it. The dash wiring harness is still from 1989. Is this digital speedometer even compatible with my 240? I have the sub harness and I hooked it up and all that. I see no reason why it shouldn't work, but any experience with someone who has actually done this and got it working would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

yeah for sure it is compatible. i went from digital to analog with no issue so it would work the other way around. do you know anyone that has a 240 to test the digital cluster?
