Digital Speedometer/New Question

Recently my digital speedometer went out and I checked the archives out, however I didnt see anywhere mentioned about the latest info. When I put my key on the on position right before starting the car, the digital readout stays on for about 2 seconds and then it doesnt come on after that. Is this a capacitor issue? Thanks

My car did the same thing. Tried ckecking out the board , but I got bored. So I bought the main display unit for like 40 bucks. That was a year ago , been working flawlessly ever since.

as stated, its easier to just replace the unit then try to fix it. its cheaper that way.

where did you get the unit? (and by unit do you mean all that circutry that is also attached to the actually display?)
