digital speedo to analog

ok...i'm fed up with all the crap my digital speedo is givin me (was working on and off for 3 weeks after i bought it in november b4 it finally stopped working altogether), and it seems that no one can fully explain what ususally goes wrong with the digital speedos, soooooo, i wanted to know if anyone has switched to an analog speedo, and if there are the same or different hookups

I have. Pretty easy just get the analog guages and the pigtail thats with it. It plugs in behind the A/c controls.

thanks...did u swap the whole console or just make a spot for the speedo?

i swap mine a while back. all you need is the mechanical cluster + it's harness. plug-n-play in place of the current one. you can go all out and replace the dash if you want, but other than that it's simple.

I did mine digital to analog too. I like the analog 1000x better

I have a 91 and I got a cluster from a 92 and it dosen't work. Any comments?

what doesnt work? Does anything on it work at all? Make sure one of the connectors isnt backwards. Yes, its possible to plug one of those in backwards. Dont ask me how i know :)

If you're running a SOHC, it wont work on your motor (I dont think). Im about 2hrs from ATL, so it'd prolly be like $8 or somethin. I MIGHT have a SOHC cluster layin around. I'll look
