Quick Question

My digital instrument Pannel was not working. Then I found two wires thatwere not connected to anything inside a black fusebox looking thing betweenthe battery and the passenger strut housing. The two wires are both coming out of a black plug-in on the right side of theblack box.

I connected the two wires and the insturment pannel started working, but itlooks like their should be a fuse or something there.

Can somebody let me know what I need to put there, I can't find anything in the shop manual wiring diagrams.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.Roy

ya thats a called a fuseable link same thing happened on my z31 all you have to do is solder a new wire to connect the two wires that are there to complete the circuit if you can find a new one it would be better but soldering it worked for me given i had some old fuseable links lying around that i used the wire from them

It's not a fuse. It's a fusible link. It looks like a wire, not a fuse.
