Digital Instrument Panel on '85 300zx Turbo

Hey guys/girls,First time posting on this site, I just started restoring a 1985 300zx Turbo.This place looks like a great resource already.

My digital instrument Pannel was not working. Then I found two wires that were not connected to anything inside a black fusebox looking thing between the battery and the passenger strut housing.The two wires are both coming out of a black plug-in on the right side of theblack box.

I connected the two wires and the insturment pannel started working, but it looks like their should be a fuse or something there.

Can somebody let me know what I need to put there, I can't find anything in the shop manual wiring diagrams.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.Roy

No problem, it's just that there are more members in that forum for your specific car, also though some here also have the Z31
