Digital HUD + Analog Cluster???

I was wondering, I have a 91 240sx with the Digital HUD and Digital Cluster, was wondering if there was a way you could keep the HUD but replace the the cluster to an analog one so I can put some custom glow gauges. So basically im asking if you can have both working at the same time, the analog gauges with the HUD?? And if so how would you go about doing this.

Nope Cant be done. Ive installed both HUD and Analog into my car and they have difrent wireing in the back of them.

The HUD uses a computer for the HUD projector. I *is* possible with lots of $$$ but for someone just trying to do it on the own with no $$$ its probley not possible

yes, but doesnt the computer reside in the digital cluster? You can find one of those for cheap. Probably needs minimal wiring. Computer will need power/ground/dim input, speed input.

Im not saying its easy, but im sure its doable with a little research and some hard work.

the computer and the digital display in the cluster are all one little "box". Ive got one around here somewhere that ill take apart and get pics of later.

I have a somewhat related problem.. after my sr swap my usdm gauges obviously arent working. So would it be possible to put a jdm center-mount tach cluster in there? I have one laying around I just thought id ask before i tried it.

im pretty sure theres a lot of info about your SR problem. Ive heard something about people swapping tachs or something
