Digital gauges!

I have a 240sx 1990 analog cluster and want to swap with digital one.Tell me please what i need beside the digital cluster.Is it gonna be plug and play?I dont want the hud just the digital cluster.

u need all the wires that plug into the back of the cluster, and ur gonna need the speed sensor from a 91+ transmission or the sr. and your tach wont work, are you sure you want it?

i was thinking it was easier to install.Some people told me it was plug and play.I am confuse.i don't undrestand why you tell me that i need the ecu and speedsensor cause the 89' came out with this cluster.

Maybe if i go with a cluster lower then 1990 like 1989 it will be ok.

all you need to convert to digital is the digital cluster, digital cluster dash harness, and speed sensor....tach won't work due to SOHC signal vs DOHC signal

I dont think that you would need the speed sensor because if you use one from the same model year, or engine style, it should be fine.

I have one in my 89, didnt swap but you wouldnt need the speed sensor

Im not sure about the harness, but it would make sence just to pull that if you are pulling a digital gauge setup, I assume you will be getting this off a junked vehicle

if u get the cluster from the year that has the same engine, 89-90 for your kae, then u eill not need the speed sensor.

1989 will be ok if i have a 1990.

Yes. All you need is the same year and the entire cluster wire harness. It disconects right behind the climate control or in that general area. This is how my HUD was swapped to analog. Should work In reverse for you to go analog to HUD.
