First is it done the same as a normal cluster swap...i would assume it is. I have a DOHC cluster in it so I am guessing I would need a subharness....right? Would the speedo go to a higher number than 125mph for a SR swapped 240? Couldn't find anything in the search for a SR digital cluster.

Are you talking about a jdm digi cluster?

You can use a dohc us digi cluster but will need the digi cluster harness as it is different from the analog harness. If using a jdm digi cluster use the us digi harness with jdm digi cluster.

Oh and don't use the jdm digi cluster harness or it will start blowing fuses and melting wires in the fuse box like mine did.

Alright...I was talking about a US digi. Will the speed change at all using the SR ECU?

no the speed signal goes from the trans to the cluster then to the ecu its wont change at all make shure you have the right speed sensor and youl be good.

The speed sensors on the sr and ka are the same because they have the same final drive. The speedo is what calculates kph or mph. Also as a note the little gear on the end of the sr and ka speed sensors is red and the one for the CA is orange. The CA has a different final drive and the orange gear has 2 less (or 2 more, can't remember) teeth than the SR/KA. That is why you should change your speed sensor pinion gear if you change final drives so your speedo stays correct.
