Are there any decent digital cameras for around $100-150?? I don't want anything super nice, just something good enough to take nice pictures with. Could you tell me what cameras are good for roughly that price and where you saw em.

Get something off ebay. Point and shoots are good, and you shouldnt need more than 2 megapixels. I like smart media, becuase you can get an adapter that allows you to put it in your floppy drive...

Fuji makes some GREAT point and shoot.

How important is zoom to you?

Well I want something that can zoom in some. Like a 3X optical and 4X digital. Something like that.

I read some good reviews on the Nikon Coolpix 2200. Any input on that camera?

Go to Wal Mart. Get a Kodak. Period!

I purchased and returned many cameras in that price range and higher until I finally got the one I wanted for $130 last year.

Size reduced from 1632x1088 with Irfanview for Windows.

This is the 2MP CX6230 model. Battery life on NIMH 2000mAh Rayovac rechargeables has been pretty good. Charger and battery is under $13.00.

We have an HP 620. It's a decent camera. We haven't had any problems with it and it was cheap.

Today I orderd the Nikon Coolpix 2200. It was $140 after tax and shipping. I can't wait to get it to get some pics of the 240

Well I have stopped my whoring rampage because I no longer care about posts. I am only posting worthwhile information, or at least confining myself to infiniti general.

Finals are fun. I haven't thought about school in about 4 weeks and it's been great.

My parents just got a HP Photosmart 735. 3.2MP, 3x optical, 5x digital, and 16mb w/ SD card slot. The 16mb gets used up pretty quick on higher-quality settings, but nothing that a SD card could fix. One thing I really like is how it fits in my pocket. Very compact...

I dont like that idea, becuase we'd have about 50 more mr1der's coming in just for the sake of posting. However, they wouldnt have nearly the thunder or wit that the ONLY mr1der has.....
