Digital Camera

Quick question on a digital camera, saw one today, a vivtar and I was wondering if it was a good camera. It has a rating of 1.3Mega pixels(if I remember right that is pretty low) and it has alot of neat features, can record video for alittle while, etc. etc. Its only like 100 bux. What is the recommened mega pixels in a camera??

if your just going to use it for the Internet, yes.

Make sure to test the camera with some normal batteries. See what the response time is from the moment you press the button till the time it takes a picture. If it takes a while, I wouldn't get it, find another company/camera

TS - I bought a 2.1 mp (HP 620 with optical and digitl zoom) for the same price. E-me and I'll hook you up with the shop name (it's at my office).

Pics of Quella (in Member's Rides) were taken with it, and I blew them up to 11x14 with no pixelation.

no!.. get atleast 3.5 MP or more.. 4.0 is what i have.. 5.0 looks killer but still reeeeeeeeally expensive.. so go for a 3.0 - 4.0

i have to agree with MasterMan. . . these days, if your looking to get a digital camera and you want something with decent quality then look into something at least in the 3 mpx range. . . anything below that is pretty crappy. . .

but, really, it depends on what you're using it for. . . if u want something cheap and basically disposable then sure, just get a 1-2 mpx . . . if you want something for digital photo manipulation or print quality resolution then you'll need something better. . .

I have an Elph, s200. 2.1 mp.The quality is a lot better than my cousin's 3.0

Maybe Canon just really knows how to make a digicam.

Any camera is fine, just avoid that **** from HP. Theyre also shady about their warranties.

I have a A70 powershot canon 3.2mp, it seems to take very good pictures, and the lag isn't that bad. But it depends on what you are going to be using it for, i plan on taking my on vaction so i really need a pretty high quality, but if this is just for goofing off then it is not that bad.

3.0 meaga is the bare minum that all of the spy car photo people will accept , this means if you catch the next corvette or anything else before it comes out, the 3.0 camera will pay for itself when you sell the pictures to a automotive spy photo dealer like brenda priddy and co
