I got a JDM Digital Speedo and put it in. It looks and works great until recently but thats another question. I took it apart to set the odometer to the correct mileage for my car rather than the one it came out of and noticed that the digi screen has a spot on it that says MPH and KMH along with some other stuff on there. But i cant seem to figure out how to get it to display MPH rather than KMH. Any suggestions? The other thing is now the speedo doesnt light up or display anything at all. And i put the original guages back in, but i cant remember if the speedo moved or not. Could it not display anything if its not getting a signal from the Speed sensor on the transmission? Does anybody have a digi gauge that could possible disconnect the speed sensor on the transmission and see if the gauge still displays anything? Also, would i need to convert the soeed sensor to get the gauges to show MPH instead?

the usdm digi cluster has a swich to theleft of the digital display to swich from kph or mph, I duno about the jdm one. There are alot of people with intermettent problems with the digital cluster, including me, my original the backlights for the entire cluster would flicker on and off, I replaced one of the boards in the cluster with a junk yard part. I havnt tried it yet on my bad cluster but there are some capacitors that go bad over time and once replaced its supposed to fix the cluster.

Do you have to have the HUD to get it to change from KMH to MPH? I dont have it, and have tried turning the knob you are talking about and it doesnt change for me! What is wrong with your digitals? the usdm ones i mean. What years and models did they come in? I might just get the us ones and swap in the JDM tach for my sr's rpm range.
