diffrence between the 92ka24 and the 95ka??

just bought a 1992 nissan 240 sx coupe and it has a 1995 ka24 motor with a turbo now what changes were made to the car as far as wiring goes to have done the swap??this is my first 240 so i dont know much any info is appreciated thanks

Ecu,fuel pressure regulator, intake/exhaust maniflold,oil filter,maf.are just the basic parts you need to do a basic turbo swap.there are plenty of info on this site find the search button and type KA24DET. Should help alot

Most likely they used all the '92 stuff to put the '95 engine in (intake manifold, distributor, etc). Then they would have just kept the same '92 wiring/ECU/etc. In that case the only real difference will be the cams which are more emission friendly in '95+ engines compared to '91-'94.

I would do exactly what Biggie said. Just swap the block and change over all the parts.

I installed a 95 KA into my 93 240sx.
The only parts I needed from the 93 motor
were the dizzy, coil and ignitor, and coolant
temp sensor to gauge (single wire)
Everything else was plug and play
