Hi guys, I was wondering how hard it was to replace the 89 240sx stock cam and gears with aftermarket ones? like pdm's I'm guessing?

Also, I've been searching on the the boards and it was recommended that the timing chain and tensioner (sp? what is this) should also be replaced.

Will any of these installs require removing/lifting the engine?

I'm a newb at these installs. But to gauge the relative hardness, I've done instake, headers/exhaust, and suspension installs by myself with my mechanic uncle (who I don't want to bother too much w/ all the labor he's put into my car for free :)).

What would the difficulty and time of installing cam/gears compare to header installation? Anyone know of any write ups? I haven't been able to find any.

Thanks a lot
