I would search around there is tons and tons and tons of info on this topic, as it has been asked multiple times.

Ooooh ooooh, me me me, um, okay. One is a straight 6 built similarly to the I-6 motors from datsun. The SR is a 4 cyl. They both use similar turbos, but that is about the extent of the similarity (besides the Nissan logo). If money permits, the RB is the hands down winner. But in my book, if you are looking to swap SR, keep in mind you WILL NOT make the torque that a KA-t might. Just my $.02.

Well, lets see, where do I start.RB25 is a 6 cyl. and SR20 is a 4cyl.RB25 is 2.5L SR20 is 2.0LJust exactly what that other guy said. There really isn't any similarity between the two except that they're both made by Nissan.

where do I start SEARCH DAMMIT!

way different...go read through each section in the engine section...RB is going to cost quite a bit more, and is more fabrication.I researched either of these but from what Ive gathered the SR Basically uses the same motor mounts and mounting location, let you drop it in and wire it up(ok maybe a little more ) and be good to go. IIRC the RB requires custom mounts, and possibly a cross member? An SR swap is in the process of being done some were in the country at any given point....RB25 swaps seem to me a little more intensive.

More people know the SR20 so you would probably impress more of your friends with that...
