Differentials

what would be a better differential for my 1993 (s13) 240sx hatchback that is both my daily and my drifter? im currently running an open differential, and i've looked around for differentials and it looks like i've narrowed it down to.. (please tell me if my understanding is correct, and feel free to flame or correct any of my mistakes!)

0. open differential 1. 1 way lsd 2. 1.5 way lsd 3. 2 way lsd 4. viscous lsd5. lsd's from other vehicles that bolt on to my usdm s13 hatchback

which is the best for my usdm 1993 (s13) 240sx if im using it as both a daily driver and a driftcar? (this obviously rules out open diff and 2way) and... where are a few cheap places i can find new/used differentials??

VLSD's are junk.if your cheap, weld it. its similar to a 2 way, but cheaper and no maintenance if done right. it is streetable for dd, but it will be a little noisy and it hops a little going around slow slow tight turns.if you dont want that, then buy a lsd that is able to be 1.5 or 2 way. then you can have both. but dont forget to break it in, and change oil when its due, and fill it with the right oil.

yeah i wasnt planning on welding my diff. anyways, too ghetto for me. can u give me an example of a diff that is able to be 1.5 way or 2 way? (cusco perhaps?)..because im looking into getting a kaaz 1.5 way.. what do u think?
