Unless Im mistaken, a 1 way lsd only works under accelleration, (the standard r200v), a 1.5 way lsd works under accelleration and moderate brakeing, (the nismo lsd), and a 2 way lsd works under accelleration and full braking.
When it's not working it functions as an open-puck diff.
Some people say that the 2-way lsd is a little excessive for track-use, and can cause spin-outs, while its good for drag. A 1 or 1.5 way lsd seems to be about the same.
This may sound funny, but play gran-turismo 3, and get the sylvia, and try driving it with all 3 different diff's, and you'll see what I mean...
