differential question

do you guys know if i would be able to use this in my 91 240 which currently has an open diff?

Both will fit fine. The first will require an installation into your existing differential housing. If you're asking this question, you'd probably be best off paying someone to install it (no offense). The second one is a bit more plug and play as it's already installed in a carrier. However, you'd need to source 5 bolt flanged axles to match, or source 6 bolt output shafts for a VLSD as your open diff outputs will not work. In the former, you'd still need to source the output shafts.

okay, so if i were to go with the first one. would i be able to use the same output shafts that i have currently?

I said you'd have to find output shafts.
In the former, you'd still need to source the output shafts.
