Differential Question!?

Hey guys, just wanna shoot a question at you about a diff. swap on my rb25det S14. A buddy of mine has a complete rear subframe off of a z32tt and he's willing to give it to me at no charge. If I pick it up from him would it be possible/worth my time to swap in the differential, output shafts, 5 lug hubs, etc.?

I read a couple threads where everyone was saying they don't believe its possible to swap in the R230V diff. (z32tt) and to stick with a R200V i.e. Q45 or z32na. However in my case it's being given to me, so again.... possible/worth the trouble??? Also how noticable of a difference would the gear ratio change be?
