has anyone heared of welding the spiders of an open differential?if so, can anyone tell me/ or us, about it?

don't even do that unless your planning on using your car as a daily driver.

. Unless you are really hardcore - there are a few guys who do daily drive "safely" w/ welded diffs. Not recommended for 95% of the population, but to each his own.

One bad thing for sure is you will go thru tires like no other, so "saving" money initially will cost you in the long run - like nitrous-oxide aka noooosssss systems.
