I have a 91 240sx that came with LSD from the factory. I recently switched my brakes all around to Z32s but since I did a 5 bolt conversion . Something is wrong with my differential and just to find out for sure, Im thinking of swapping it out for a spare unit that my friend has. So here is the question, will a NON ABS 89-94 240sx rear diff pumpkin fit into my car? Are the ABS rear ends and NON ABS rear ends physically the same? I know that it will fit but Im worried if the overall length is different, and possible problems with the driveshaft.

If anyone has tried this please let me know

They are different. The non-abs is about 3/4" shorter than the ABS diff. This will cause driveshaft problems and I wouldn't recommend using it.

Damn, I also have a 90 FB with ABS and was trying to figure out which diff i was going to use after a 5 lug conversion and all that good stuff. Whats the highest performance diff out there that will with with a 90 fb with ABS? I am going to need a very strong unit.
