Different swap Idea

Ive been thinking about swapping the engine in my Hardbody and Ive seen a few SR20 swaps I was wondering if anyone had swapped an RB series motor into a hardbody and how hard it would be? I was thinkin RB25/26 my truck came with the KA24e

Since 2005+ trucks already have it, start hunting down a donor truck. Engine and trans mounts will need to be fabbed, and the wiring harness/ECU swapped over....

You'll also need to keep the transmission from the donor truck too.

On the other hand, you could get similar HP swapping in a 96+ VG33, and it'd be a lot easier, since VG engines were available in D21 trucks, even a few 2wds.

The RB has been done. $$$$. We're talking lots of fab work including motor mounts. The transmission will not just bolt up. If you have the money then by all means. Personally I'd go with the VG but that's only because I use a truck as a truck.

dude rb in a 2005+ trucks thats sweet were can i find one of those im looking for a rb for my 240 and if the trucks have one then i might have found Gold
