Different model hotshot headers??

So are there different generations of hotshot headers for the 240?

I ask this 'cuz i've seen the following:



Now the OBX copies the 2nd design, but I'll like to know which model in your opinion is (was) best? The 1&3 or the 2nd?

bah... those aren't worth it... either save your money for an SR or turbo your KA... the headers are crap for the KA

well, that has nothing to do with the question asked, but I don't see how headers would not be "worth it" in a natural aspirated engine (although i prefer the 4-1 design myself). Anyways, it seems boost seems to be the "answer" to every na question now adays. Although I'd take an fj or a ca over an sr any day of the week.

im in the process of buying the hotshot headers and i wanted to know what was wrong with them besides the price?

I'd go with the one in the first picture... the second pix got some sloppy welds that looks like it could crack easily.

i know they have made some changes in the design over the yrs. i think the one in the 1st pic is the latest. i bought mine like 1 1/2 yrs ago and they were the ones in the 2nd pic. they were nice and i had no problems w/ them though.

Headers don't do much for the ka24de. But I would go for the 1st & 3rd header cause it looks like it would have more and easier flow. that's IMO.

i never said said they werent worth it. and pacesetters are crap. hs makes the best header for the 240.

I bought the HS headers and have no problems with it. It did make the car a little louder and there is a significant difference on the top end.
