My front driver-side wheel has a different finish than the rest of the wheels on my car. They are the stock G35 wheels, but the rest are a shiny, chrome-like finish. The different one looks like clear-coated alloy. Excuse my ignorance, but if I were to apply enough paint thinner and elbow grease, would it look like the rest?

I think one of your wheels was refinished.
I doubt you could hit on the magical combination that would make it look like the others.
Good luck

Just chipped off all the clear-coat from it. I let paint stripper sit on it so the sander will be applied today.
