shopping for a car, I came upon these two 1995 240sx. I noticed that they have different headlights. Why is this so? They are the same year. I know one of them is souped up but I've seen those headlights before too. Also, what body differences are there between the 1995 240sx and the 1998 240sx?

Yeah, the second has a later model front end with some aftermarket headlights. The main body difference between 95 and 98 are just the "Shark Eye" headlights I think. Not sure about any mechanical differences tho. PEACE. Tek.

95 and 96 - Zenki97 and 98 - Kouki

I fell in love with the kouki but found a beast of a 95 and I have fallen in love with the zenki style. Dont discount the fact that you may well come to love the zenki. Yes you can convert them, do a search on it as there is lots of info available.

The main differences are in the headlights and front end.

There are some wiring differences too. The wiring for the gauge clusters if different, i know that. Im sure there are some other subtle differences but for now im not sure.

the tail lights are also different... the zenkis have a bubbly/smooth look while the koukis have a ridged effect...

there's a whole lot more emissions crap you have to deal w/ on the 97-98. . . OBD 2So, I'm guessing different ecu, and couple other minor stuff.everything else has been said about in this thread.

I asked all this because I'm planning on selling my 91 240sx to get the new one. Since I'll do the S15 conversion anyways on my future s14, then I guess their's no point in buying (and spending the $2,000 extra) the 1998 240sx instead of the 95, is there? Also, why have I noticed that some s14's have a longer front than others?
