you can probably push another 20-30 hp max on the s15 over the s14 t28. 20 horses is worth $200 horsepower per dollar so I say you should get it.

i know the differences between them. i just wanted a power/spool comparison.

btw, the s14 turbo is BB as well.

the differences are an inconel turbine wheel and a divider wall for the exhaust. thats pretty much it i think.

spool time should be about the same, since they are the same trim and both ball bearing, power wise would be a little different cause of the ceramic wheel on the s14 turbo really isnt safe over say 15psi. so i imagine prob a 30-40hp differnce considering u can run 19psi safely on the s15. no solid proof on these numbers just goin by what i read as i was thinking bout changin to a s15 but probably just gonna find a gt2871r a little more money but u can make close to 400whp

the s15 doesnt hold more than 15-16 to redline. Also its been tested on a dyno and over 17 psi its starts acting like a heat pump with minimal gains.

/\ I agree....I think that the spec V S15 turbo is dbb but I'm not positive on that. Other than that yeah its just the ceramic wheel. The flow chart, and everything should be the same. You can look up float6969 he's in the CA section. He can offer more detailed explanations of the differences in the two turbos.
