Hey, I have been looking for a 95 300zxtt manual but can't find any for sale. I was avoiding the earlier models because they were supposed to have many problems I didn't want to deal with (listed below). Being that the car is 10-15 years old would you recomend buying a older model and hoping that any factory problems have been fixed or are easy/cheap to fix?

Problems:

1990-91 - On turbocharged models, the clutch may slip because the clutch-pedal return spring is too weak.

1990-94 - Adding fuel-injector cleaner to the gas tank can cause corrosion on the fuel injector coils, which will eventually damage them.

1990-93 - A problem with the power transistor causes drivability and idle problems, and there was a voluntary recall to replace it.

1990 - Leaves and other debris can collect in the evaporator housing, clogging the drain and causing water to leak into the passenger footwell.

1990-92 - The power windows may shudder during operation requiring revised window regulators, or the windows may not operate due to dust building up in the main power window switch.

Thanks for your advice

If you find one, you should be able to take the VIN to a Nissan service department and have them see what has or has not been done to it.

Would you recomend buying one of the older 300zxtts or wait until a newer model appears on the market?

At this point all TTs that are at a certain mileage can experience these issues. I would agree later model TTs vs Early maybe a bit better if the mileage is low.

If your a tuner, love modding, and want to upgrade, most of the facts you have listed there are easy to change and mod to something better than any TT in production had factory. The aftermarket upgrades for the followers of the Z really is nice, and I wouldn't worry about most of that stuff.

finding a manual TT isn't hard, but a specific year is a bit touchy with 95 96 being last production years. Most of those owners I would assume may still be using or are just about to sell.

I have searched for a 91, 94,95,96 300zxtt manual and have found none. The only tt I found was a automatic, other than that they were all just regular Z's. If you have any tips for finding one I would very grateful.

Thanks for you help

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a fsm?

hahaha, I see we have a little confusion here. Due my poor wording of sentences it looked like I was looking for a "instruction manual" when I really meant a "manual transmission". What I wanted to say is that I couldn't find any 300zxtts with a manual transmission for sale. Sorry for the confusion.
