Differences between the M56xS & Q70xS

So I was thinking other than some suttle Ext and int changes.

What would be the major feature, performance and amenity changes.

They did a restyle for 2015 with new front bumper headlights and rear bumper tail lights and trunk lid.

They also added a new option for the wheels 20" multispoke in a gun metal color and contrast piping on the seats and floor mats. Other than a 360 degree camera I don't think much has changed as far as tech goes... for sure it's the same car mechanically.

I did recall someone saying the forest air system is no longer available.

I just picked up a 2011 m56, it's the same as my 2013 m37 for the most part. I saw no reason to purchase a newer model, beyond mileage and warranty. Had the same dilemma with my FX50. That car is unchanged since 2009 except the grill design.

'13 model M's and later Q's have auto dimming side mirrors, plus rear sonar, Infiniti Connection, and Sport package is offered with AWD models. Hybrid model becomes available. (no AWD)

'15 model Q's (in addition to the above) have 360 degree cameras, addition of a long wheelbase model Q70L, recalibrated transmission, optional back up collision intervention, revised 18" wheel pattern; hybrid model has the multi camera parking system with moving object detection and forward emergency braking.

'16 model Q's add Premium Select Edition, This model comes standard with a rear spoiler, unique exterior design accents, and 20-inch alloy wheels. The Premium Select Edition models are only available in the gas-only Q70s.

'17 model Q's add the Premium Select Package to the Q70L.

Performance/powertrain is pretty much the same since 2011, only major TSB (now a recall) is the oil jet/timing chains replacement on the 5.6L motors ('11 - '13 M's and QX56's)

There's been some upgrades via TSB's to various components.

There may be other items; these are just what I found online.

small world. I saw in one of your posts that you purchased your car from IL. I have been looking for an M56 for about 5 months and saw your post. the speck looked like the one I checked out at Infiniti CH. it is a nice example.

Ya the world gets smaller for sure.

There is a 13 like mine (M56xS), same options but 16k miles I think they want $35k. I can look at it if you want.
