Being a 240sx owner for a couple of years now, i have noticed that there are a lot of different setups for the 240sx that have become extremely popular, everything from stocker with a couple of bolt-ons to the popular SR20DET swap, the CA18DET, the RB20DET, and then those who run under the motto "Let it be" and just drop a turbo kit on the KA. There are also the freaky bunch who like to Frankenstein the 240sx by dropping in the RB26DETT, Chevy LT-1, i have also seen an LS-1 in a 240sx. (The coolest swap i have ever seen was a Ford 5.8L 351 Cleveland into an SVT Focus.....can we say...warp speed, Mr. Sulu?)
Anyway....i was wonder what the main differences were between the platforms, that is, the SR20, CA18, and RB20, and why y'all chose to run those platforms instead of the stock KA24
I dont want this to turn into a "My engine is better than your engine type deal," just a comparison between the strengths and weaknesses of each block, and why you, the responder chose the platform you are running.
