differences between 89 and 93 hatch?

i just wanted to know the differences between the two and also what year they changed. i know theyre the same model but i heard there are some minor/major differences between the early and late years of this model. im asking specifically about the hatch. thanks.

the bumber is different and the wheels for the se model, '91 started the new styling. there's probably more but i dont know.

89-90 will have a KA24E, 2.4l inline SOHC 4. 91-93 has KA24DE, DOHC. Trim levels are the same, as are options. Seats in the 89-90 are 1 piece bucket, while 91-93 have 2 piece seats. Nose is different on the 89-90 and the 91-93. Other than that, they are identical.

rico05 - everything there is true, except the seats. In the 91-93 240's, the base model came with the 1-piece seats, while all other trims came with the 2-piece. Only reason I know that is my '92 has the 1-piece seats, which I hate.

Weird. Never heard that before. I actually prefer the 1 piece to the 2. I have an 91 SE and my buddy has a 90 Base and I like his seats way better.
