Differences between 240sx

are there any differences between the 1991 240sx SE model and the 1992 240sx SE model?? both having 5spd

NO, not to my knowledge. All of the 91-94 SE should be exactly the same. There may be some small variations in the options, depending upon the original buyer's preferences. But mainly, they're identical.

the 91 has better factory cams. I have heard people call them semi racing cams, not sure about that but they are supposed to make a little more power. 91's are the fastest 240's in stock form. People actually swap cam gears from 91's into their later models for more power. Be careful about buying one with Hicas, Ive heard it wasnt all that great back then

HICAS is kind of quirky. The 91's are supposed to have the most aggresive cam profile of the 240's.

how can ya bash HICAS... its gr8.. i can take onramps at 50 -60 MPH no prolem.. and never had it fail.. so eh.. i like it
