well the main thing is the engine (100 more hp) but also the 3.5 has different rims and a "sport tuned suspension", fog lights, little turn signal things in the mirror, and i'm not sure about the 2.5 but i know the 3.5 comes standard with a sun roof...... different exhaust tips.... lol oh ya! traction control is standard on the 3.5...... if you really want to know the difference just go to the altima coupe section on the official Nissan site and compare the two, it'll tell you the different.

ok ready> ill make it simple..

if ur goin for looks..and looks only get the 2.5....

if ur goin for both looks and performance...3.5

watered down to simple..

3.5 has...a bigger wheel...17 as opposed to 163.5 has...turning signals on the mirrors...3.5 has... stock fog lights...

3.5 has a 3.5 emblem on the trunk as well as the v6 desination...

In terms of performance, only the 3.5SE has the 270-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine with Traction Control System (TCS), 17" Aluminum-alloy ENKEI wheels, Sport-tuned suspension with retuned front stuts and thicker front (24.2 mm) stabilizer bar and the optional Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC).

guys.. u cant be forgetting that the 3.5 also has stock HID's.. and the 2.5 doesn't

The majority, i guess, take those hid's out and swap 'em with some McCullough's, Xentec's, etc..

Why would you replace the stock HID"s? Just change the bulb if you want the different color..

If you get the 2.5 get the stick, I test drove the CVT and really found it lacking.

Everything together:

3.5 mirrors are folding (manual) have signal lights and are heated.HID's in 3.5 w/premium packageHigher governor on 3.5 (135 instead of 113)This is because the tires on the 3.5 have a higher speed rating (they also perform worse in the snow)17 inch split spoke wheels instead of 16 inch3.5 comes with Traction control and optional VDC (vehicle dynamic control)100 more horse with the engine3.5 uses premium gas vs regular in 2.5

2.5 does come with fogs, sunroof, and chrome exhaust tips w/premium package.

Mehdi, have we confirmed there is definitely a difference with the suspension? I know we originally thought the RSB was larger but I thought that turned out not to be the case? Anyone have any input on the suspension on the 3.5? is it stiffer?

In any case, the mods most of us have done to the suspension: Eibach springs, Rear sway bar, and end links, make a huge difference in performance for the 3.5 and 2.5

Having gone with the 2.5 for gas mileage personally, I'd go with the 3.5 manual (at the very least 2.5 manual) if I had to do it over, you're buying the car because it's a sport coupe, have fun with it.

I did he said I was mistaken cause its does not have a lens, and I said thats what a projector is, and I said we (A/C owners) have reflectors with a shield to prevents blinding on coming traffic he then said yeah thats a projector as well.......I said no, I think manager is saying that 1) he thinks I am dumb 2) saying that so he does not have to compensate me for selling a package with features that are not there.

I think all trim have the same rear sway barhttp://forums.altimas.org/zero...age=1
