difference in t/c rods?

alright i've decided to go for the pillow rods. what difference is there between some of the name brands. there is a group buy at zilvia.net for some JIC rods for 250$ and that seems to be a good deal but how would those be any better than a pair from splparts.com for 140$. I know buying from a big name makes a difference in price but i've seen much more expensive that that. If i go for the cheap ones will i be getting what i pay for or are most t/c rods the same as far as pillow balls go?

Don't worry. You won't be selling yourself short with the spl peices. The only thing cheap about them is the price. They are beefy, light, and work the same way all other t/c rods do. I've had mine on for a little while now (I was in the first shipment) and have zero complaints or issues. Everything is all gravy.
