that sounds like bs.. Not doubting you, but it sounds like it...1991S13 wrote:Stay away from them.
My neighbor had them in her Cavalier and she was rear ended. The back of the seat collapsed, and she flew backwards and hit her head on the back window. That killed her.
No it's one of the reasons why seats are FIA certified.Chingon wrote:that sounds like bs.. Not doubting you, but it sounds like it...
I know my neighbors, I know a lot of ppl, and does not mean I have a close relationship w/any of them. I just said it sounded like bs, because it's one of those things that is hard to get a grasp of. I mean, it sure as hell is possible for crappy seats to break and ppl to die (i'd guess it happens often too), but it's just one of those things that looks weird when you read it. It's farfetched reality I suppose.Nismo_Freak wrote:No it's one of the reasons why seats are FIA certified.
I will not own an aftermarket seat that isn't FIA cert.
Kinda crappy that you are calling the dude out when someone he knew died.
Agreed.Nismo_Freak wrote:

Yup, I wouldn't buy a seat unless it's FIA or TÜV certified or an OE seat. I prefer my brains within the confines of my skull, and not all over the windshield.Nismo_Freak wrote:No it's one of the reasons why seats are FIA certified.
