Difference in engine mechanics for a 2.5 and a 3.5 altima

Hey i was planning to do some upgrades on my new(kinda) 07 altima 2.5s. However their arnt that many parts and bolt ons available for my model. However i did see some for the 3.5 model. So i was wondering if anyone could tell me the engine specs for both altima's and their compatibility. Thanks!@

Great vehicle you purchased. Hope your enjoying it. The 2.5 and the 3.5 share no compatibility. Your 2.5 model has what is called the QR25 engine designation and the 3.5 model has the VQ35.

You do however share the same engine type as current and previous Sentra SE-R/Spec-V models which has always had a parts following. There are upcoming parts for the 2007 model 2.5 arriving soon I'm sure. You won't be left out.
