Just what it says, is there a difference, or are they identical...

Thanks

from what I understand, you can't use a TT clutch in the NA housing. But I believe internally, the transmissions are the same. Not sure why the clutches won't swap though. Something to do with the bell housing and flywheel I believe.

As far as I've come to understand the Z32 trannys are the same internally but AZbum is correct in saying that the bell housing and flywheel are different thus causing a different clutch to be needed. NA's also run different size driveshafts out of the backside.

Ok heres what is different. FlywheelClutchInner bellhousing (no big deal)All the wiring and the ECU (yes ECU) will work just fine as long as you have a boost controller.

As for the actual motor main differences compression ratio and placement of the oil squirters. The heads are slightly different just I can remeber what small fact about them was different.

Other little things are different about how certain things mount. N/A has no HICAS and also has a R200 rear end as opposed to an R230. N/A gear ratio is a 4.08 as opposed to the TT's of 3.63. Oh the driveshaft splines on the end that go into the rear end those are different.
