from what I read on the description. they basically are used to eliminate the play of the subframe.

the collars seen easier to install. but have to keep the old bushings. um.. can anyone tell me the major difference between those two on functionalities please?

I am planning to do this mod in the near future. kinda need to do some homework. thanks

the collars are just inserts that will fill in the space left by the rubber bushings, they just take the slack of the the subframe, but you still keep your rubber bushings for better ride comfort. easy to install, dont have to drop the whole subframe, just use a jack and lower it to slide the top cup over the bushing.

the solid alum bushings actually replace the old rubber bushings all together, VERY STIFF ride, you don't want this for a street car. Harder to install, have to drop the rear subframe and remove the stock bushings.

i have the collars and love em, made a huge difference for the ~$90. One of the best money for the price mods i've done to date.
