I was looking for a motor swap for my 90 240sx. I will have about 3K for my motor. I will be getting more money every month and Im looking to be in the low 13s high 12s by fall. Which motor should I go with the SR GTI-R or just an SR? I also want it to be an everyday driver also.

Theres lots of info on here...

But quickly note...the gti-r motor is a FWD platform...not better performance.

GTIR engine will not fit. You can swap the internals. But that requires buying two engines.

WHAT!!! Of course the Gti-r will work in a 240. Its alot faster 2. If its a good price buy 2 to you can throw 1 in the trunk and have 2x the ammount of power.
