difference between s13 and s14 KA harness

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

what is the difference between the s13 and s14 KA harness's....i have a 95 KA24de engine, harness and trans im going to do a KAT-t in my 84 s12..

im just trying t figure oit what the differences between the s13 and s14 harnesses are.

I'm not for certain on some of the plug shapes but I know the s13 will have an aiv unit plug and an external pick-up coil for the distributor. other than that I think is just plug shape.

so could i just run an obd 1 s14 ecu in my s12 and be ok? i will also ask on club s12

ECU plug...coil plugs.. Going to be a couple extra for emissions and 2nd 02 sensor...

so using the s14 ecu and harness with the s14 motor in my s12 what all would be different, i figured the snd o2 sensor...what else?

If you got the motor... you shouldn't have to worry about anything really. Just wiring to get your fuel pump to work unless you hot wire and depending on if you use you a s14 clustr then you need the dash harness or do it custom..

ok, thanks...the fuel pump will be hot wired more than likely....about the cluster....i was reading on clubs12 and found out that the only thing that wont work is the tach...

at any rate, yeah i have the motor,harness,transmission and motor mounts, all i need is an 0bd1 s14 ecu
