difference between rb20det and rb25det harness

is the rb20det and rb25det harness the same or similar how can you tell what harness you have ,and will and rb25det harness work for rb20det motor or will rb20det harness work for rb25det motor

the plugs that terminate into the ecu are totally different. The rb20det is split into 2 parts. The rb25det is 1 single plug. Essentially the same wiring i'm sure.

Generally, as cars change generations, wiring changes. Just for future reference. Meaning, you can count on it being different.

I believe its pretty close. The pinouts are only different on a few wires I think... I can't seem to find the rb20 pinout right now though.

RB20 and Rb25 are totally different and can not be interchanged with out major work, its more like a RB26 . The RB25 is totally different!!!!!!!!!!!
