I was wondering easy to tell difference between and rb20 5 speed and rb25 trans. It is bolted to my rb25det but I think It may be an rb20 trans.

I pulled out the gear for the speed sensor and it was short and looked like the one in pictures for lower wireharness guide. Thanks please tell me any other ways I tryed to still my s13 auto driveshaft in. It when past the seal nicely But I couldn;t get the spines to line up but I might just have messed that up. Thanks.

It looks like the one on the right. I dont have the entire sensor just the gear and arm no actual electronics. THanks

God pictures of the 2 transmission would be helpful i am 95% sure it is rb20 trans. Being it came with rb20 block mounts. I am assuming it was installed on an r32 and they used the rb20 trans to keep stock driveshaft.

rb20 trans weighs about 85lbs I think, the rb25 weighs like 50-60lbs more I believe.

if your sensor is small, it's the 20. your auto driveshaft shouldn't fit, you will need a driveshaft from a standard 240

The output shaft on the 25 is bigger than the one on the 20, which is also why I think you have a 20.

good luck.

sorry to hear it. I see that you are in FL. If you get your money back you may want to see if http://www.xatracing.com can get you a motor, or do the swap for you.

I don't have any experience with them, but they have been around for quite a while and are in your state.
