Difference between KAE and KADE harnesses??

I need to replace then engine and chassis harness in my car and am wondering what the differences are between the SOHC and DOHC harnesses both the main cabin harness and the engine harness.

the transmission harnesses are the same. engine harnesses are different somehow, never really put my finger on it.

the cabin harness, like the chassis/dash harness or whatever is the same too, except in order to use a DE engine harness in a 89-90 240, you have to cut the plug and match the colors going from the ECU plug to the dash harness.

and matching cluster to motor. or speedometer at least.
