Difference between ka24de and ka24e?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I don't know that much about nissan. What is the difference in the two motors and which comes in which model 240.

de is dual cam....

e is single cam...

difference....not much power wise..

The 12 valve SOHC 'e' came in the '89 & '90. The 16 valve DOHC 'de' came in the '91 through '98.

The 'e' was rated at 140 bhp. The 'de' was rated at 155 bhp.
