difference between inner/outer valve cover gasket?

is there a difference between a inner valve cover gasket and an outer valve cover gasket? :help

You get 2 gaskets in valve cover gasket set. One is for the valve cover the other is the spark plug gasket. You need both when doing the job. Don`t forget to get grey silicone for around the halve circles on both ends of the valve cover.

Depending on the condition of the gaskets and whether or not you've got a leak right now, you could re-use your existing gaskets. I've used mine a few times and they're still not leaking. I'm finally replacing them when I do my upper chain, since they are starting to look a bit ragged.
