What is the difference between a S14 (k's) and a R32 (in japan) front caliper? it seems like most people prefer the 32 but i know they are both 4 pot and take the same pads, is one better/worse?

I believe the Silvia K, R32, and Z32 are all the same.

To add to this.... Most of the calipers seem to be the same between the different models. The only big change was from aluminum to iron. The only thing I have noticed was that each model used a different size rotor. I was bored one night and found this http://www.club240.com/forums/...21575. It lists the different sized rotors between the years of most nissan cars. I believe the r32 gtr v-spec was the only caliper change.

Just a word of caution about that page...Some of those specs are incorrect. For instance, my FSM says S14s had the same sized discs whether or not the car had ABS (252x20mm). And the J30 has vented rotors in the rear that are thicker than 9mm. I forget the exact measurement and I dont have my notes in front of me. The G50 Q (90-96) had nonvented 9mm thick rears.

Well I highly doubt nissan changed disc sizes between abs and non abs, that's just stupid and a waste of money... But I was just throwing it up there mainly for the r32 stuff, which then again could be fuzzed too.
