http://ka24development.com/vlsd.htmlThat's what's helping me through my j30 experience. I know if you're swapping the guts into your open diff, you have to use the output flanges from the j30. So I don't really think that putting your 6 bolt flanges in place will work.

I'm not 100% sure though.

I'm not too possitive with s14's... because I believe s14s have different diff mounting locations...

but as far as using the z32 axles, z32 axles are longer than j30 axles. just an fyi

my damm heads spinning.. grrr

ok so if i get this j30 diff, can i take it out of the j30 pumkin with the 5blot flanged axle and install it into my open diff 6 blot flanged axle pumkin?

or can i just use n/a 300z axles?

im taking the diff out the pumkin to shim it anyway so if it will make my life easier to just put it in a s14 pumkin then ill do so instead of looking for j30 axles.

thanks

from what I've read, you have to use the J30 output flanges no matter what. So you can put it into your open diff pumpkin as long as you use the j30 output flanges. If you click on the link in my first post, it may be of some better help.
