Diff oil brand

Hi! I just got a 2way cusco lsd. It has alot of miles but it looks like its still intact and well maintain. Anyways, the person who sold me said the best differential oil is KAAZ. But I can't find any in auto part store, except online ( i dont want to order online and wait like a week to get here ) . Is their any other diff oil brand that sells in auto part store?

Royal purple is good, just read the label to make sure its the right application for 2 way.

Yea royal purple is good but i usually dont see royal purple motor oil in autoparts stores, let alone diff oil... I mean your best bet is to order royal purple or kaaz diff oil online, and if you need it that bad... have it overnighted... spend a few more dollars to get it shipped faster but its an over all better lubricant for your 2 way! Thats what i would do rather than just buy any 2 way gear oil at an autoparts store!

Oh yeah one more thing. What weight should i get?

Check the maintenance section of the FSM and use the temp scale.... but anything from 75 to 100W is is fine. 80W90 is usually the most ideal.

But motul, Amsoil, Redline are great, use the mfgrs recommended LSD additive... now for the transmission ONLY GL-4 oils if you decide to change that too.... NO GL-5 in the trans.... diff GL5 is okay
